- Purifed water: Sage is a water-based lubricant, and contains neither oils nor silicone
- Hypromellose: This ingredient is a semisynthetic polymer most well-known for its use in eye drops (artificial tears)
- Carbomer homopolymer type B: This ingredient is a thickening agent used in many types of cosmetics. It provides Sage with its desired viscosity
- Lactic acid: Lactic acid is naturally produced by healthy lactobacillus bacteria in the vagina and helps to keep the vagina at the proper pH. It is included in this product to ensure Sage is at the proper pH and to support a healthy vaginal pH.
- Sodium and potassium phosphate: These ingredients are part of the pH buffering system that keeps Sage in the proper pH range (about 5)
- Sodium chloride: This is salt – just like the salt you use on your food. It is included to ensure Sage is isotonic
- Raspberry-derived xylose: This ingredient is a sugar that provides a building block for the formation of protective natural mucus and energy for healthy bacterial function

How often should I use Sage Personal Moisturizer and Lubricant?
Sage is formulated to provide temporary relief from vaginal dryness. Use it every few days or as needed to replenish your natural moisture and relieve discomfort associated with vaginal dryness.
Do I have to apply Sage internally using the applicators?
Sage can be applied externally or internally. To apply externally, squeeze a quarter-sized amount of lubricant onto your fingers and apply to the genital area. To apply internally, screw a clean applicator onto the tube and fill the applicator with 1-3 grams of Sage. Insert the applicator gently into your vagina and depress the plunger.
How many applications does a tube of Sage provide?
Each box of Sage includes one 40 gram tube of lubricant and 2 reusable applicators, providing at least 12 applications. The amount of Sage used per application will vary between 1 and 3 grams depending on your individual needs.
Can I wash and reuse the applicators provided?

Can I use Sage with condoms?

We’ve tried different lubricants and didn’t know how much we didn’t like them until we tried this one. It’s not greasy and eliminates dryness for me. Excellent product!
