How should I clean the Milk-Saver?
We recommend that you use hot soapy water, boil, or run it through the top rack of the dishwasher. It is not recommended that you steam the Milk-Saver.
How many times can I use the Milk-Saver?
The Milk-Saver is reusable, therefore, you can use it as often and as long as you need.
Does it just come with one Milk-Saver?
The Milkies Milk-Saver comes with one Milk-Saver. It is to be worn on the non-nursing side during the breastfeeding/pumping session to collect any leaking milk.
How much milk will the Milk Saver hold?
The Milk-Saver holds over 2 ounces of milk.
Can you use the Milk-Saver beyond the feeding session to collect milk in place of a nursing pad?
You can certainly use it when you are not feeding instead of nursing pads, though note that they are larger than nursing pads, and therefore, not as discreet. Another thing to consider is that the “lid” that comes with it won’t prevent all the milk from spilling out if you do bend forward. We would recommend that you use the Milkies Milk-Saver On-The-Go Breast Shells in between feedings!
Will all breast/nipple sizes fit into the Milk-Saver?
The Milk-Saver was designed for most breast/nipple sizes. The diameter for the nipple opening is one inch.

I have used this milk catcher with both of my children, and I love it so much it is my number 1 go-to gift for new moms. I cannot say enough how easy and worth the money this is. My only regret is that it truly is comfortable and easy, so in your postpartum-nursing-at-3-am haze, it is easy to forget you’re wearing it and it spills easily if you bend over to say, pick up or lay down a baby.
You only do that once or twice though! Cannot recommend this product highly enough. BUY IT.

If you leak significantly during let-down, I definitely think this is a must-have. Now that my supply has regulated I find that I collect far less with it than I used to, but it’s still worth it. However, I wish it didn’t have an embossed logo printed on the side that touches your breast- this product already sits on my breast so tightly that it leaves a mark around my areola (which fades shortly after removal), and the logo then gets imprinted on my breast as well. I also wonder if the top couldn’t be a bit better sealed, so that you wouldn’t lose quite so much milk if you forget you’re wearing it and put the baby in a crib or bend over for whatever other reason…

Most recently, we added the lid to prevent spilling when leaning over. While it isn’t a perfect seal (which would have come with several drawbacks), it is a strong deterrent to leakage. Your point regarding the logo placement is right on as well. Thanks again!

This little thing is a lifesaver. I built a small supply my first two weeks after my baby was born just by collecting the milk I leaked on the side my daughter wasn’t nursing. It was also incredibly helpful when one flange of my pump kit broke and I could only pump on one side. It such a simple but helpful breastfeeding tool. I can not recommend this enough.

I wanted to love this, and I do to a certain extent. It saves the foremilk that comes during let down while I breastfeed, but not the nutrient rich milk. I guess anything is better than nothing. I’ve been adding it to the milk I pump so it isn’t wasted, but I don’t trust using just the foremilk for a feeding. Overall it does it’s job and is useful.

I’ve been able to build a huge milk supply in my deep freezer just by using the milk saver every time I breastfeed or pump. I collect between 2-4 oz per session. It’s so easy to slip it in my bra. It never leaks and is comfortable. There are other brands that use suction to catch the leakage but the suction hurt my sore breasts and also it got in the way of my sons feet. He kicks it off or the suction comes loose and it spills! I can’t recommend the milk saver any higher! Must get!

I got the product cause it interested me as I do leak a lot in general. When I first got the product and looked at it wasn’t crazy about it, I think mostly cause the look of it. But it’s actually really nice! It’s comfortable to wear and works very well as there’s not much mechanics to it. But yeah! Definitely recommend! Was worth the little extra to ship to Canada!

No having to hook up to a machine, just tuck it in your bra and let your body do the work. Wish I had this with my first, I’m still sad at all the wasted milk! It is exciting to see how much milk I am saving just by collecting it and not soaking breast pads! It would be nice if the material would not collect hair quite so easily and it seems to be discolor ingredients for some reason but overall I love this! Every ounce in the freezer counts!

So I bought this after discussing with a few mom friends how I wished I could collect the milk that gets wasted in my breast pads from leaks.. it came in the mail fairly quickly and It was only then realized it was only one.. for the price I expected two.. anyway I was expecting something I could wear to work and not just when I’m feeding or pumping but that too was a disappointment.. also it’s huge! So while it can fit in my tank top and bra, it bulges and there’s nothing discrete about it.

I am so glad this product is available. When I asked my IBCLC about how to handle all of the excess milk I was losing during nursing when I would let down on the side the baby wasn’t nursing on she was unable to come up with a way to “catch” all of the milk. My husband looked on line and found this product, because of this product I have stopped pumping and we have over 150 oz of milk saved at 6 weeks postpartum.
