This nipple balm is soothing and not excessively oily. I use it to lubricate during pumping and to soothe after pumping or breastfeeding.
My only concern is although it says ORGANIC it is not stamped with the USDA symbol.

I used this product in the first month or two after having my son. He had trouble latching and we had to use a nipple shield to assist in breastfeeding. Upon orders from the lactation specialist, I would start my son feeding using the shield, then pull it off to try to train him to latch, then finish the feeding by pumping to ensure my milk supply stayed high. This meant feeding sessions lasted 45 minutes or more! I was sore and this product helped to keep me from cracking, bleeding or blistering. I preferred it over other brands like Honest company

I have to be honest and say I haven’t used any other nipple ointments but didn’t really have to bc this product did the job. I had a hard time woth breastfeeding and was thankful to have a natural nipple cream that I felt comfortable using with my LO.
