I am an exclusive pumper and so my poor nipples get tortured to put it bluntly! I’ve tried Lanolin, Coconut Oil, and a prescription nipple cream and FairHaven Health Nipple Nurture Balm is as good as the prescription! Milkies Nipple Nurture Balm doesn’t compare to Lanolin.. it is totally different and far superior! It is silky smooth and rubs on easily, whereas I feel like I have to coerce the lanolin off of my finger and onto my (usually sore) nipple… ouch! I nurse and pump daily (I work full time outside of the home and my five month old is exclusively breastfed). I pump 4-5 times a day, and combined with nursing my daughter on demand, my nipples feel abused. I love that this balm doesn’t feel heavy or greasy, and I can’t really tell you why it works, but it definitely makes my boobies feel better! I wish I knew about this when I first started nursing, and it will be a staple in my house for as long as I have nurslings!

With my first daughter, I only breastfed for about 4 weeks, but this time we’re going on 4 MONTHS strong!! But that means my nipples have seen a lot more wear and tear (not literally, thankfully). This product is great. I didn’t try this product with our first child and used other brands that I could buy at local stores, which didn’t help much at all. I bought this for nursing our second child that is now five weeks old. This stuff works. I was so very sore in the beginning of nursing our daughter, and this ointment helped ease the pain of getting started with breastfeeding. I know that this works because the other brands that I used previously didn’t come close to the relief I felt after using this product. I highly recommend using this. I still apply this ointment even though the soreness is gone to prevent dryness, etc., from coming back.

There’s plenty of other creams that say ‘natural’ but this is the only one i could find that says its organic which is important to me (and my baby!) I’ve been using it for a week or so now and have to say it’s a great product. i don’t have cracked nipples or anything but they do get sore and this product seems to have helped quite a bit 🙂
