How should I clean the Milk-Saver?
We recommend that you use hot soapy water, boil, or run it through the top rack of the dishwasher. It is not recommended that you steam the Milk-Saver.
How many times can I use the Milk-Saver?
The Milk-Saver is reusable, therefore, you can use it as often and as long as you need.
Does it just come with one Milk-Saver?
The Milkies Milk-Saver comes with one Milk-Saver. It is to be worn on the non-nursing side during the breastfeeding/pumping session to collect any leaking milk.
How much milk will the Milk Saver hold?
The Milk-Saver holds over 2 ounces of milk.
Can you use the Milk-Saver beyond the feeding session to collect milk in place of a nursing pad?
You can certainly use it when you are not feeding instead of nursing pads, though note that they are larger than nursing pads, and therefore, not as discreet. Another thing to consider is that the “lid” that comes with it won’t prevent all the milk from spilling out if you do bend forward. We would recommend that you use the Milkies Milk-Saver On-The-Go Breast Shells in between feedings!
Will all breast/nipple sizes fit into the Milk-Saver?
The Milk-Saver was designed for most breast/nipple sizes. The diameter for the nipple opening is one inch.

I purchased my first mymilkies 3 years ago. At that time the style was slightly different but being able to collect the leaked milk was great. I could use the milk when I needed to be away for a bit, to mix with homemade babyfood, and was even able to donate milk. This time around I ordered more. I have a total of 6 mymilkies, 4 old style and 2 new style. I am able to catch anywhere from 2-8 ounces of milk per feeding. I currently save around 30oz of milk per day. I prefer the older style because I can lean forward and dump them into a container when they get full. The new ones collapse of you remove the ‘lid’ making it hard to transfer the milk while wearing. I wear one at each feeding when I am home and I love that they are dishwasher safe. I purchased several to be able to wash them in the dishwasher without having to run it more then normal.

I love my milkies milk saver! The only thing I can complain about is when I feed baby and she falls asleep and needs to be laid down and I forget Milkies is still in my bra and I bend over! Yikes talk about a mess!!

This product is great! I didn’t realize how much breastmilk was being wasted while nursing or pumping until I tried this product. The amount adds up. I wish I knew about this product 3 years ago when I breastfed my first daughter. If you’re struggling between getting one or two, get one. I got two just in case, but I think only one is necessary. I wish I had found this product with baby number one instead of number four. As a working mom I’ve had to pump while on maternity leave and pumping is not my favorite thing. With out even pumping I’ve already saved a TON of milk. I’m able to save 3-4 ounces every other day or so. I may only get .5 ounce each time I nurse but it definitely adds up. My milkie is my favorite investment!

THis product made the biggggest difference for me in my breastfeeding journey! i am able to save milk that would otherwise be thrown down the tubes and whip it out in times of need. i can give it to my baby to top her off after a feeding, i can use it when i am unable to nurse, and it also keeps the mess away. i went to a lactation support group and told everyone about this product, they were all really excited!

This product is the best thing since sliced bread. I only wish I would have known about this when I was breastfeeding my first child! To think of the milk I wasted into nursing pads! I’ve been using it for 3 days and LOVE it! Just today I have saved about 5 oz of breastmilk only using the milkie. It’s a great way to save milk without pumping, and relieve some engorgement on the side you are not feeding on.

I think this is a wonderful idea and am using it with my second baby(wish I knew about it for mt first!). I have gotten as much as 3 oz from one feeding, on one side and have a stocked freezer after only one month of using. The only reason for the 4 vs 5 stars is the quality of the product, the case hinge broke after a month (I did call and they are replacing for free) and the silicon is already getting a bit discolored, but nonetheless I would highly recommend!

This product has allowed me to comfortably collect my letdown on the opposite breast while nursing. I have a strong and fast letdown so I can easily get 1-2 oz. I don’t pump so this is great for me to collect and build a freezer supply.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I do like the thickness of the original design a bit more. I decided to try the new one because it has the better feature of the lid. Wish the old one just had the option to purchase a lid.

I stumbled upon this product after being frustrated with wasting milk and making a mess at every feeding. I had been using a bottle and one of the horns from my pump to ‘catch’ the milk from the other side when my baby was nursing, but this method was super bulky and prevented me from maneuvering my baby efficiently. Since purchasing my Milkies Milk Saver, I now ‘catch’ 1/2 to 1 1/2 ounces at each nursing session and do so in a very comfortable, clean, and efficient manner. I would recommend this product to any nursing mom!

I think this item is great. I leak around 2 oz regularly. Even more so in the mornings, so I use this daily and have built my freezer stash just by catching what I leak and I haven’t needed to pump at all. Only thing I would change is a better seal of the top. Right now if you have it in and forget about it, don’t bend over, it will spill.
