CountBoost Supports Sperm Count with Ashwagandha and a Potent Mix of B Vitamins and Antioxidants
Producing healthy sperm in the right amounts requires that the body have all the raw materials it needs. CountBoost contains a variety of vitamins (B12 and C), antioxidants (CoQ10 and Reduced Glutathione), and herbal ingredients (Maca, Mucuna pruriens, Ashwagandha, and Panax ginseng) that are well-known to support sperm count. CountBoost for Men is a dietary supplement designed specifically to improve sperm count – the leading cause of male infertility. CountBoost is not a standalone product, but rather it is designed to be taken along with FertilAid for Men.
Who Should Take CountBoost?
CountBoost is designed specifically for men who have have a low sperm count. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), low sperm count is defined as a count of less than 20 million sperm per milliliter of ejaculate.
I’m Already Taking FertilAid for Men. Do I Also Need to Take CountBoost?
FertilAid for Men is a comprehensive male fertility enhancing supplement, designed to help increase sperm count and improve sperm motility and morphology. We recommend FertilAid to all trying-to-conceive men to help ensure that the raw materials for healthy sperm production are available to the body, and specific antioxidants are present to help prevent oxidative stress.
If, however, you believe that sperm count is a primary issue, or if you have had a semen analysis (SA) which indicates a low sperm count, you may consider taking CountBoost in conjunction with FertilAid for Men.
What are the Ingredients of Countboost?
Countboost contains a variety of vitamins, antioxidants, and herbal ingredients that have been scientifically demonstrated to improve sperm count.
Countboost contains:
Coenzyme Q-10 (CoQ10): CoQ10 is an antioxidant found in seminal fluid and seminal plasma. Multiple studies have confirmed that CoQ10 levels correlate closely with sperm count. Most important, research indicates that CoQ10 supplementation results in improved sperm density and motility, and increases the percentage of sperm with normal morphology.
Glutathione: In addition to protecting sperm from free radical damage and improving sperm motility, glutathione is important to ensuring a healthy sperm count. Research has demonstrated that treating infertile men with glutathione resulted in improvement to overall sperm count (as well as cell membrane characteristics).
Vitamin B12 as Methylcobalamin: Multiple studies performed on men with low sperm count (oligospermia), and even men with no measurable sperm count (azoospermia), indicate that supplementation with methylcobalamin may result in significant increases to sperm concentration.
Vitamin C: Research indicates that increased vitamin C intake is associated with higher mean sperm count. In one study, vitamin C was supplemented to infertile men between 25 and 35 years of age with decreased sperm count. The men received 1000 mg of vitamin C twice daily for up to two months. The results of the study showed that sperm count (and motility) increased significantly with vitamin C supplementation.
Mucuna pruriens: Research indicates that Mucuna pruriens can improve several parameters of sperm quality. Animal models indicate that Mucuna pruriens improves sperm count, sperm viability and motility, and reduces morphological damage and the number of sperm with cytoplasmic remnants. This herb may also help to reduce reactive oxygen species and lipid peroxidation, DNA damage, loss of chromosomal integrity, and mitochondrial membrane permeability.
Ashwagandha: Also known as Withania somnifera, ashwagandha has been demonstrated in studies to increase both sperm count and motility. It may also reduce oxidative stress as demonstrated by improvement in seminal plasma levels of antioxidant enzymes, and vitamins A, C, and E.
Maca: Maca is a traditional herb that has been used medicinally for years to enhance fertility and libido. Numerous studies have shown that supplementation with maca improves sperm count, as well as sperm motility, semen volume, and overall sperm quality.
Panax ginseng: Studies on Panax Ginseng, a traditional Chinese botanical, indicate that it induces spermatogenesis, and significantly increases sperm count and motility.
Ribose: Ribose is a five-carbon sugar that provides the necessary substrate for synthesis of nucleotides RNA and DNA, as well as major cellular components such as ATP. Adequate ribose is essential for energy production, and the availability of ribose determines the rate at which these nucleotides can be made by the cells. Poly-ADP-ribose polymerase (PARP) is a DNA repair enzyme which also plays a role in apoptosis. PARP is present in male germ cells, specifically during stage VII of spermatogenesis. PARP expression is higher in spermatozoa and in proven fertile men. PARP is activated by DNA strand breaks due to oxidative stress, chromatin remodeling, or cell death. High PARP expression has been reported in mature spermatozoa and in proven fertile men.

I am 33 years old(healthy). I am on the fertile aid for women. My fiance is taking the count boost and the mobility. His count is lower but not really bad. He has been taking for 2 months now. We have been trying for a total of 8 months as of now( we did take a break in there). He had his reversal in late of 2014. His reversal was done 18 months after his vasectomy.(so we thought we would be fine and get pregnant in the first 6 months) Hopefully it happens soon.

I am not 100% sure if it was this product but after 18 months of trying to concieve. We had a positive pregnancy test a month after my husband started using this product. He had a reversal done 18 months ago. We did a iui that failed. A month later we discovered this product and we are now pregnant. I do have to add that we used the combo pack. This stuff seriously works!! My husband had a SA done which showed a 16 million count, he took Countboost in conjunction with Fertileaid for about 2 months and his sperm count is at over 36 million. I’m still not pregnant but this has greatly increased our chances!! I can’t say enough good things about these products. For the price, you really can’t beat it!!

My husband has been taking CountBoost and Fertilaid for men for 4 months. We are currently on month 5. Been trying to conceive for 1 year. His sperm count was less than 2 mil. We will get another test done in 1 month. Still no positive pregnancy test. Continuing to have faith we will get pregnant…

I used this product for a little over 3 months. I had my sperm count checked prior to taking this and fertilaid and took it after. My sperm count actually dropped a little bit. I will continue to use fertilaid since it seemed to have helped the morphology, but at this time I will not continue to spend money on Countboost

Startred taking 3 months ago and sperm count was only 7 million. Had a test done the other day and it came back normal . So it went all the way up to 20 million in 3 months. I also take the fertaide for men. my wife takes the fertiaide for women and count boost for women. She just had a tubal reversal on Nov 16, 2011. So hopefully we will have good news soon, but so far very impressed with the prodcut.

My husband did not have any issues with his count, but we are undergoing IUI treatments, so we thought that every little bit helps. We did our first IUI treatment and the lab technician basically told my husband that his numbers were off the charts and that she stopped counting because no one would believe that his count was as high as it is. We only had a chemical pregnancy this round, but after nine years of trying without success – we are excited and hopeful.
