Once couples decide to have a baby, it becomes front and center in the brain. And if it doesn’t happen as fast as you want (which is often the case!), it seems nearly impossible to stop obsessing about pregnancy. Dealing with infertility can be one of the most difficult periods in your life especially if your friends are having babies. Issues with infertility are more common than most people think. Roughly 15% of couples have difficulty conceiving and within those couples, the male factor is an issue roughly half the time. The saying that ‘it takes two to tango’ certainly holds true when trying to get pregnant.

Knowledge is power in the case of fertility. Exciting new studies are being conducted that provide strong science on ways to increase both female and male fertility. Women who know when they are ovulating each month have a much greater chance of becoming pregnant. Men who test for low sperm count and take steps such as antioxidant supplementation are showing huge improvements in their numbers.
