My husband had a vasectomy reversal late last year after 15 + years of being fixed. We have been trying to conceive every since with no luck. We started wondering if the reversal worked, and if sperm in fact had returned. My husband took the test and the test showed positive for sperm! We were really happy about the results, so we continued on our merry little way. We continued trying and we still had not conceived so my gyno sent my husband for a sperm analysis. We got his results, and the spermcheck fertility test was correct; he did in fact have a sperm count of 21 mil and morphology was at 75%. The problem we are having however is his sperms motility is at 10%. It should be at 45-65 %. So now we are working on getting that up now. I recommend this as a first step in checking for fertility issues for sure! We will start Fertilaid men's fertility starter pack when it arrives hopefully in a few days. Good luck to all!

Years after vasectomy reversal

My hubby had a vasectomy reversal 6 years ago. We had one successfull pregnancy right after surgery. But after trying to conceive for 3.5 years after our first we thought the surgery reversed itself because we got a lab result back informing us nothing was found in the sample. ( no live, no dead sperm) it was devistating. After another year of ttc. I heard anout The sperm check test. Hubby took the test it came out positive, and we got our positive hpt that same night. So after a negative lab test ( I think cup anxiety) sperm check didn't only ease our mind but we got our miracle. I have NEVER posted anything on the web but after searching for post vasectomy reversal I found nothing and really wanted to share our results.

SpermCheck Doesn't Do What you think it Does

I had a vasectomy and I check once in a while to make sure something natural didnt happen like the lines reconnect which they can. I bought this test kit because I read many reviews on it. I was extremely disappointed when I started to read the instructions. This test gives one 2 results: over 20 million count and under 20 million count. That's it. If you are registering under under 20 million count, you dont know if you are infertile or not. You could be producing 0 sperm or anything in between up to 20 million. If you are trying to have children and you have no idea your on the amount of sperm you are creating, this is not the test kit for you. The average price for a Urology sperm test by a Urologist is between $45-$70. Spend the money for ACCURATE Information!

My Fiance and I are having trouble getting pregnant, I am taking fertileaid for woman have been taking it since March I have notice a difference since I have been taking it, but we wanted to make sure my Fiance had a normal sperm count.. We just completed the test and found out he does have a normal sperm count . Although the C line was dark and the T line was faint but the test said that's a positive. I would recommend this if you need to find out if your partner has a low or normal sperm count.

I bought this item for my donor, and we did it at home. It was a quick and easy test. the test line was faint, and really didn't pop until the 7 minute mark, we thought at first it was negative. But thankfully, it was positive and we commenced with our insemination. good luck to all.
Pros:In home, and private, easy directions. Didn't need a lot so was able to use the rest of the sample for insemination that night :)Cons:the test line has varying degrees of darkness, and a faint line is just as positive as a dark line. I would rather it all be the same shade. Or if a fainter line indicated a lower count above the 20 mil cut off. just so that we know |

I ovulated!!!!!!!! I have been taking fertilaid, fertilecm, using preseed and drinking the fertili tea and I DETECTED MY LH SERGE ON MY OVULATION STRIPS!!!! At day 21!! My cycles are ALWAYS all over the place

Gotta love that I get off to make this test work. Accidentally glanced at the result before the 7 minutes and I was a little worried. But after the 7 minutes the second line was there. This is a big stress relief for my wife and I, now I just have to get the buggers to swim.

I wouldn't buy another kit, it wasn't the greatest and wasn't what we were expecting, we are still not pregnant. Most guys have the righg amount of sperm, it doesn't tell you if they are good or not. Im just not happy with the product.

Seems like it is an accurate test, since my husband had a sperm count and analysis and his count was indeed at least 20 million which is the marker for the test. He had been taking fertile aid for men for a month and a half. His count was a whopping 58 million. Motility and morphology were good as well. We do not have a base count, but it obviously didn't hurt his fertility. The doctor was amazed!

This test worked as described it isn't quite as easy as a home pregnancy pee on a stick test but the instructions were clear and if you followed them you got good results. Overall i felt like it was worth what i paid for it and i would buy it again if I needed it.

Me and my hubby have been TTC for a year now and i thought it was me so i went to have my levels checks, and it came back normal. So we decided to buy this product. And it showed his sperm count was in normal range. So it probably is a timing thing.

I am so happy to know that our fertility problem is not with my husband. I suspected it was me although i don't know why because i'm ovulating monthly (taking a digital ovulation test) but not having any periods for more than 7 months now. I'm 42.
Pros:Non clinical, did not have to go in doctor's office, no embarassment. Being able to test with your partner in the comfort and privacy of your homeCons:In the beginning it didn't seem like it was going to read right then it did. Husband says he just thinks the quality of the test strip could be improved. I did not look at the test myself and my guess would be that men have no idea females go through millions of pregnancy and ovulation strips and he only needed one test!!! Lucky men |

It's always good to test both husband and wife just to know what's going on and if there is a problem. In our case we like the fact that this was in house and private. We didn't get the results we would have liked, but I think my husband took it too soon as well as I may have had some air bubbles in the tube.

My husband took this test not too long ago just to see if he has enough sperm for "optimal" performance. It was easy to follow and read and we were glad it wasn't a faulty test. We have also purchased fertilaid for me as well as fertileCM and fertilaid for women, and sadly, with all of these products, we are still not pregnant after 3 years of trying. I am not saying these products don't work, but I am saying they might not be as great as they're made out to be. They have not worked for us, and I doubt I will waste more money on their products.

We had been trying to get pregnant for a couple of years without success. The doctor wanted my husband to come to his office for a test, but he just felt uncomfortable doing that. We ordered the test and it confirmed that everything was ok. We're not pregnant yet but I'm using some more Fertile Aid products....so we will see!

I did the test. It came back positive, meaning I had less than 40 millions sperms per measure so I went to see my doctor and he told me that quantity is one thing, but what really counts is quality. he said he had patients with less than 5 millions that could father a baby, so sperm mobility is key here.

The reassurance we needed

We never suspected a low sperm count but you can never be to sure. We checked it and the test confirmed that low sperm count wasn't our problem. We felt very satisfied using the product from Fairhaven Health because of the great reviews and strict standards. The whole process of a home sperm test is confusing and frustrating and Fairhaven alleviated some of that with great instructions and simple process!

Product was easy to use and results were accurate. Product is good for identifying a low count and the need for further testing. A positive result is less useful because you still don't know anything about motility, etc.

GREAT GREAT GREAT product! Super easy to use and very inexpensive. We had never got a sperm analasys on my husband but suspected him of having issues due to drug use in his teen's. When I asked him top get tested he REFUSED to go to a clinic and do it in a cold room and with a magazine. He said he just thought that was way to much of a private matter. So this was AMAZING that we got to do it in the privacy of his own house! Super easy and GREAT instructions to follow.

My husband is normal! (Actually, he's not normal at all, but that's a different story...) We had suspected a sperm count issue for him for years based on the results of a semen analysis he had done long ago. Since we've been TTC, though, he's been supplementing with all sorts of vitamins that are supposed to make sperm happy and plentiful. We wanted to know if it was working and if his count was in the normal range, and since he refused to (god forbid) have another semen analysis conducted, so we bought this test. Long story made short, he didn't mind using it, it was super easy to use, and best of all, it came out with the result we hoped for! Give it a shot... it works!
