The OvaCue Bundle - The Ultimate in Ovulation Prediction

Limited Time Offer!

Buy the OvaCue Bundle today and receive FREE FedEx Overnight Delivery anywhere in the United States! (Canadian customers will receive Free USPS Express Delivery to Canada during this promotion as well.) Read the Special Limited Time Offer details at the bottom of this page to take advantage of this offer.

The OvaCue Bundle contains the OvaCue Fertility Monitor (with Oral Sensor), as well as the Vaginal Sensor - the ideal combination for pinpointing the days you're most likely to conceive. By ordering the OvaCue Bundle, you save $20 off the purchase price of buying each of these items separately!

The OvaCue is a saliva-based monitor measuring changes in the electrolyte levels in your saliva that are impacted by the hormone estrogen. Simply place the oral sensor on your tongue daily and the OvaCue will track and record your fertility for that day. It looks for trends in your electrolytes to mark the beginning of your fertile window — this is the selection of your dominant follicle. With 5-7 days advance notice of ovulation, you are able to increase your chances of conception. This FDA approved monitor is over 98% accurate in predicting ovulation. The OvaCue keeps track of your current cycle day and current fertility status — and it stores up to 4 months of readings.

The Vaginal Sensor increases the accuracy of the OvaCue and is able to confirm that ovulation has occurred. With the vaginal sensor — the monitor is able cross-reference additional data points from the electrolyte level trends it observes in your cervical mucus. This will allow the monitor to detect when your estrogen levels are decreasing and your progesterone levels are increasing (ovulation). It is extremely beneficial for women with irregular cycles to use the vaginal sensor. Irregular cycles are commonly caused by hormonal imbalances. For women with a hormonal imbalance, ovulation may occur before or after the predicted time frame the oral sensor provided. If you happen to ovulate earlier then the oral sensor predicted — the vaginal sensor will be able to notify you 1 or 2 days in advance and ovulation is actually occurring sooner. This is also the case if ovulation is occurring later than the oral reading had originally predicted. It will extend your 'fertile' window until the progesterone dominance has been detected.

You will also receive free, unlimited access to OvaGraph.com a full-featured fertility charting tool that allows you to store, graph, and print your OvaCue readings.

Does the software work on an Apple computer?

By Customer Service on January 10, 2012

Answer:
The software has been discontinued and is no longer included in the OvaCue Bundle. Instead, we've developed a free online charting website, www.OvaGraph.com, where you can chart all of your OvaCue data. It's a great place to chart your OvaCue readings and any other charting methods you may use, and has a great community of ladies to help answer any and all of your TTC questions.

Can the ovacue be used to prevent pregnancy for natural family planning?
By Customer Service on October 11, 2011

Answer:
While approved by the FDA as an aid to conceiving, OvaCue is not cleared as a means of preventing pregnancy, though there certainly are people who use the product in this manner. OvaCue is the only monitor approved by the Vatican as consistent with the teachings of the Catholic church. In addition, a study was conducted by Marquette University on the OvaCue's potential role as an aid to NFP:

I am in Australia and I am interested in purchasing the bundle, I was wondering how much it is for delivery to Australia and if you know what taxes charges apply to it being an international purchase.
By Customer Service on February 1, 2012

Answer:
International shipping is a flat fee of $29.95. Unfortunately, taxes seem to be applied quite randomly and we have no control over which packages get charged and others don't.

I was wondering, I have irregular cycles and have checked a few times with my obgyn and docs and everything is completely fine with me. My husband and I are young and trying to concieve and want to try the OvaCue and I have read mostly successful stories on the OvaCue and I was just wondering:

If I do not ovulate basically means I won't be having a period that month, would the OvaCue tell me that I won't be ovulating? Or basically? go to question 1

I have to have a cycle in order for the OvaCue to do a reading on me correct?

I use the OvaCue during the 2nd day of my menstrual period correct?

Will the OvaCue change my days of ovulation or days leading up to ovulation base on my oral reading?

Will the OvaCue change my days of ovulation or days leading up to ovulation base on my vaginal reading?

i did not have a period for a year and now it starts back, i do not use any kind of birth control or anything at all.

Before my period stopped, Every month, i usually have my cycle on the beginning of each month that first week and then goes like that every month, what should I imput for my cycle days now then?

since it i did not have it for a year and now it's going again?

thank you for your help,

Vase
By Customer Service on December 1, 2011

Answer:
Hi there,

It's possible to have a period and not ovulate. If you are using both the oral and vaginal sensor, you would be able to detect if you are ovulating or not each month. It would not tell you in advance but your readings would indicate one or the other.

You do have to have a menstrual cycle in order to use the OvaCue and you begin on cycle day 2 (second day of your period).

The oral sensor will detect when your body selects the dominant follicle and predict a fertile window. The vaginal sensor will refine this fertile window if need be and confirm ovulation.

We recommend that you take an average of your last 3 cycles. I'd recommend you see if your period continues.

Feel free to contact OvaCue customer service at info@fairhavenhealth.com for further questions.

Can I use this as a form of NFP to not conceive? How accurate will it be if I'm still nursing and cycles are longer then they use to be?
By Customer Service on December 30, 2011

Answer:
The OvaCue is not approved by the FDA for Natural Family Planning. However, we do know that many women use it for that purpose. We do urge all women using it for that method, use both the oral and vaginal sensor. The oral sensor will open your fertile window, while the vaginal sensor will close your fertile window. Breastfeeding can alter your hormones and cause hormonal imbalance . . therefore, it may take further interpretation as your cycle slowly regulates. Feel free to contact our customer service team, as we have representatives specifically dedicated to the OvaCue.

Brilliant Fertility Monitor
By Breezy from Brisbane, Australia on December 27, 2011
Brilliant fertility monitor, brilliant service, worked fast despite my fertility problems! I was diagnosed with low ovarian reserve and sent straight for IVF to get some embryos "in the bank" just three months before our wedding.
After the wedding, we were given a few months of trying to conceive by ourselves before the fertility specialist told us we would have to resort to IVF.

In the last couple of months before our wedding, I used charting and the OvaCue to avoid pregnancy - worked beautifully but no surprises when you're less than optimally fertile! (Please note - the OvaCue is not currently approved for contraceptive use, but since it wouldn't have been a disaster for us if I got pregnant at that stage I was happy to give it a whirl and spend the time getting used to the system. Apparently Fairhaven Health are seeking approval for contraceptive use, but the company is not making any promises at this stage.)

As you can imagine, I was highly motivated to get pregnant in the five month "window" we had before IVF!

I did lots of research and chose to do BBT charting on Fertility Friend plus use the OvaCue. I liked that the OvaCue was a one-off cost, that it was backed by clinical research, and that it was a saliva test rather than endlessly (and expensively!) peeing on sticks like you need to do with the ClearBlue Monitor.

The OvaCue complemented my BBT charting beautifully, and alerted me to unexpectedly early ovulation as well as a possible issue with low progesterone levels after ovulation. The free OvaGraph website where you track your readings was extremely helpful, and the experts on the forums were happy to interpret my chart when it wasn't straightforward.

I had one small problem with my unit (it was taking a couple of goes to turn on properly but still did the job perfectly) and found the people at Fairhaven Health incredibly helpful and responsive. They answered emails within less than 24 hours, helped me troubleshoot, sent me a new unit immediately - to Australia- when the workaround didn't fix the problem, and told me to return the defective unit whenever was convenient, rather than disrupting my charting by sending it back straightaway.

After our wedding, we immediately started trying to conceive. Despite my age (mid-thirties) and my low AMH and having an antral follicle count equivalent to a woman in her forties, I got pregnant on our second cycle of trying! The OvaCue made SUCH a difference, because, unlike BBT charting, it gives you a few days notice of when you will ovulate so you can "advance load" on the crucial three days ahead of ovulation day. ;-)

A couple of tips for anyone interested in the OvaCue:

1. Buy the vaginal sensor. It's the only thing that will definitely confirm you have ovulated, and it tells you straight away, which is much more helpful than waiting for three days of high temperatures when you're BBT charting. Once you know you've ovulated, you don't have to keep having daily sex. (Don't get me wrong, I like sex but when you're TTC you want to avoid burnout....)
2. Use the free OvaGraph website. It made a massive difference, plus there were highly experienced users to help interpret your patterns for you.
3. If you're temping as well, I found it was much better to temp vaginally, because having the thermometer in your mouth first initiates saliva flow, which distorts your OvaGraph reading, and vice versa. I found vaginal temping was more accurate in any case.

I am now five weeks pregnant, and if this pregnancy is successful I will use the OvaCue to try for our next baby, as well as avoid pregnancy when that's what we want to do.

Love the OvaCue!
By Molly from Austin, Texas on December 8, 2011
This product is absolutely brilliant! I had been only using OPK's with not much luck. The Ovacue with the vaginal sensor was great for me and my slightly irregular cycles. I got pregnant the first cycle that I used the Ovacue. I used it along with OPKs just to make sure they matched up (and the did!) The fertile window along with the pink box that confirms ovulation really eliminated the guessing when it comes to timing intercourse correctly. I also really enjoyed charting my information and learning about my cycle. Its very easy to use and I highly reccommend it!
Pros:
easy to use
small
eliminates guessing
helpful with irregular cycles
It works!

omg!
By Lexi from Chesapeake, Va on November 11, 2011
I bought it after saving up for 2 months and having been trying for over a year. After 3 months I was told I could have low progesterone, well that same cycle I found out I'm pregnant! I'm bow 5 weeks today and the monitor was the best. I also took the fertility value pack so I'm sure that helped.
Pros:
Not messy. One time purchase. Easy to use.
Cons:
The vaginal sensor needs its own case.

OvaCue Bundle
By Keiko from Calgary, Canada on November 4, 2011
It's great item to see when's your ovulation.
Because I'm irregular cycle, I was having hard time to know good timing.
Now, it's so easy to see what date is good day.
One thing I don't like was, the Power ON/OFF buttan.
It's tiny and so difficult to press. I wish it's somewhere on the top or side or somewhere else.

Pros:
Easy
Small, light body
1 week notice
Good for irregular cycle too
Cons:
Power ON/OFF button

The best on the market!
By Kate from Belgium, Brussels on October 30, 2011
To be honest I am amazed how clever this product is! Absolutely recommend it to everybody who needs an ovulation predictor. But this product is much more that. Even my doctor is impressed! I can tell him what is happening and when I ovulate and why I ovulated twice for example (Read the purple box in the manual), instead of him telling me what is going on. I have only started to use it, so I do not know how long it will last before it brakes down, or stops being accurate. But this peace of technology is worth every penny of the investment! Also I would like to mention that if you are planning to buy OvaCue, make sure you buy it with the vaginal sensor. This is a very important component and this is what makes it so special amongst the other things.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Useful along with other methods for those with irregular cycles.
By Sarah from Alaska on October 2, 2011
This is my second full month using the Ovacue. Once you understand the patterns to look for, it is very helpful in determining when you may be fertile even if you have long and irregular cycles. The online help is invaluable. Along with BBT charting I have been able to pinpoint my ovulation within a 24 hour period, something I was not accurately able to do with BBT alone. The probes are easy and quick to use, takes far less time than the thermometer! For those having trouble conceiving with BBT alone this is a great addition to gain more information about your cycles and hopefully lessen the chances of needing more invasive medical intervention.
Pros:
Easy to use.
Color coding is helpful.
Online support in amazing.
Gives useful information no matter what your cycles are like.
Cons:
Predictions can be off if you have long/irregular cycles so one needs to learn to interpret the raw data themselves instead of relying on the color coding.

a little tricky
By Luna from Memphis on October 1, 2011
My cycles are irregular, so it is a little harder to use. I have to rely on my ability to interpret the raw data, not the color coding the ovacue uses. I tried practicing using the forums and other posters charts, but I never seemed to get it right. The "expert" always read the chart very differently from me.

I have difficulty getting a good reading with the vaginal sensor. I would frequently get an error reading, or ridiculously high reading when I had lots of eggwhite cervical mucous.

I am now on my 3rd cycle with the monitor. I THINK I've figured out how to take readings. After I ordered the ovacue but before I received it I did contact customer service to ask a few questions. I got some quick, short responses. Others seem to have better luck with customer service. I have thought to reach out to customer service again, but haven't since last time they weren't so helpful.

The forums seem to be helpful for some. They were a bit slow for me, but that may be because they are so new. I would love for there to be a chart gallery to practice interpretation skills, especially since the expert is so dismissing of basal body temperature. Anytime I thought the data lined up with a bbt, she felt it didn't. Also, the expert seems really knowledgeable about a typical, average, normal cycle, but can't offer much support for irregular, and inconsistent cycles. Which is unfortunate since one of the selling points for the ovacue is the fact that women with irregular cycles can use it.

The ovacue itself is fairly easy to use. It only holds a few months of data. The ovacue does not delete data as it needs more room. You have to manually delete the data. So if you are in the middle of a cycle, too bad, you have to delete it to make room. But if you enter the data into ovagraph you can interpret the raw data.

Overall, if my friend wanted a fertility monitor I would mention this one since there are no test strips to buy. And I always feel the more data you have the more you can pinpoint.

Pros:
Nothing more to buy, no test strips
Works with irregular cycles
Cons:
Expert isn't as helpful with irregular cycles
The manual leaves a lot of questions unanswered
Vaginal sensor is difficult to use and get right
Sometimes hard to interpret data

Got pregnant after one month of using it...
By Kathryn from USA on August 19, 2011
It was very easy to use. The instruction booklet is very detailed and clear. I was very satisfied with this product. *I had briefly considered purchasing the separate units (when they were still not bundled), but I'm glad the company has decided to bundle the Ova Cue with the vaginal monitor.
Pros:
Easy to use
Instruction booklet was clear
Bundle price

Pregnant First Month!
By Janet from Bay Area, California on July 18, 2011
Ok, to be fair, it was also my first month on Clomid. BUT after 2.5 years of struggling to get pregnant, it happened the first month using OvaCue! It really does give you a giant advanced notice of what's going on. It seems really accurate too because I was also BBT charting, using Clearblue Fertility Monitor, internet OPK’s, OvWatch etc and everything lined up! (Except that Clearblue Fertility Monitor was a day late.)
Pros:
What's not to like? It's easy to use, keeps track of everything and is compact and discrete. No peeing on things, nothing to do but remember to use it! The owner's manual was also awesome because it explained how important it is to have sex BEFORE ovulation.
Cons:
The OvaGraph Charting Program could be a lot better.

helped me get pregnant!!!
By rebecca from LaPine, Oregon on June 29, 2011
I'm 39 years old and have been trying to conceive for 18 months now. I have a daughter that's 14 years old, but for some reason, I couldn't seem to make it happen this time around, though I'm sure my age was a factor. I bought the ovacue monitor with vaginal sensor about 4 months ago and have used it religoulsy since receiving it. In that time I have learned so much about my fertility and when I actually ovulate. I started using the ovagraph.com website that lets you chart your ovacue numbers online as well and that made a big difference. This cycle I'm pleased to report that I'm pregnant!! I'm so happy with this product and I'm really convinced it woudn't have happened for me without ovacue. Thanks so much!!
Pros:
I like how ovacue gives me a complete picture of my fertility with details that no other method provided.
Cons:
Not a big deal, but the "on/off" button on my unit sticks and I have to pry it out with my fingernail sometimes.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Wonderful Product, Just Don't Look at the Colors
By Libby from Bay Area, California on April 21, 2011
I love my OvaCue. I've had it for about two months and it's very accurate. It's so accurate, that it showed my doctor the reason why I've haven't been able to get pregnant before- it showed that I wasn't producing enough progesterone (which helps the fertilized egg "stick"). Becuase of my OvaCue, my doctor and I are taking steps to make sure that I do produce enough and can get pregnant.
The only issue I have with it is that you can't rely on the colored squares. At times, it will indicate ovulation confirmed, (the pink square), then will change a day or two later to indicate that this new day is the day that you actually ovulated. As long as you're taking your cues from the numbers (the rise and immediate fall of your oral number and then the fall and then rise of your vaginal number), then you're on your way to pregnancy.C

Pros:
Very accurate; easy to use; the CD-Rom is very helpful (the graph and numbers lined up); and the purple carrying bag is discrete.
Cons:
The colored squares can be wrong; the vaginal wand isn't very discrete when traveling;

NFP tool
By Juan from Fort Worth, Texas on March 20, 2011
We are a newly wed couple that purchased this to help plan our family in lieu of using other natural family methods. This product was highly recommended to us from a good friend. The product came with very limited instructions. We had a hard time understanding how to operate and use the software but when we called the customer service line, we were greeted with a friendly lady who spent ample time explaining the meaning of the different colors, the software, etc. We are now well equipped with tools to plan our family and are extremely glad to have purchased it!
Pros:
It is much easier to use and more scientific than other natural family courses plus it's quicker than a 3 month class! We love that the system tracks everything for us!
Cons:
The software was very difficult to download but the help line was very helpful and they quickly took care of it for us. There isn't very many instructions, but the staff at Fairhaven health are very well equipped to answer any questions and they are very friendly!

I would recommend this item to a friend.
